Create a Custom Setup and choose the first club in it!

Own your very own setup that you can design, create and control.

Choose the Setup Name and rules.

Choose the number and size of the leagues and the clubs involved.

Choose which club you want to manage and then decide which mangers you want in your setup.

Open it up to everyone or just invite your friends.

[edit] How do you create a Custom Setup ?

Once you have purchased a Custom Setup from the SM Shop, you can create it from going to - 'My Home' > 'My Extras' > 'My Setups'.

You will then choose:

1. The setup name and your starting club.
2. The clubs in your setup.
3. The number of divisions and clubs in your setup.
4. Whether the setup is open to everyone or whether it is application/invite only (eg Buddy League).
5. The number of clubs promoted and relegated.
6. The number of points for a win.
7. The manager's reputation entry level to your setup.
8. The setup description - (this can only be changed once a season).

[edit] Advanced Custom Setup Rules

You can set the advanced custom setup rules by going to - 'My Home' > 'My Extras' > 'My Setups' > 'Edit Rules'. The rules you can set are :

• No buying from Unmanaged Clubs - (Unmanaged clubs will not bid on your players)
• No buying from External Clubs - (External clubs can still bid on your players)
• No buying over the age of - (This can be set to Any or a specific age)
• No buying players rated over - (This can be set to a specific player rating)
• Cannot do cash transfers over - (This can be set to a specific value)
• Promotion Play-Offs - (This can be turned on or off)
• Transfer window ONE between Turn X and Turn X - (Players cannot be bought outside of this transfer window')
• Transfer window TWO between Turn X and Turn X - (Players cannot be bought outside of this transfer window')
• Can only buy players from the same nationality as your club - (If your club is in England, you will only be able to buy players who are English)
• Manager sacked if they finish in bottom: - (You can choose either 1, 2 or 3. These managers will be sacked and the club will be available again.)
• Manager must login to this setup at least every: - (The can be set to :

1. SM Default Days - This is the default days you must login to your clubs.
2. 7 days - The manager must login within 7 days or they will be automatically removed.
3. 10 days - The manager must login within 10 days or they will be automatically removed.
4. 14 days - The manager must login within 14 days or they will be automatically removed.)

You can only edit the Advanced rules of your setup ONCE at the start of a new season.

[edit] Custom Setup Formats

Public Open - The setup is completely open to anyone who meets your 'Manager Reputation' setting level. They can join your setup if clubs are available.

Private Application - Managers will have to apply to join your setup and will have to be accepted by you to take over a club.

Private Invitaion - The setup owner invites managers to take control of clubs.

Private Locked - Nobody can join the league.

[edit] Administration of a Custom Setup

If you own a Custom Setup you have the power to set rules (once per season) and also to request a transfer to be reversed or a manager to be removed.

To request a transfer to be reversed or a manager to be removed to you will need to access 'View/Admin Managers & Transfers’. You can access these from My Extras > My Setups and you will then have two main options in relation to this:

• Admin Managers - You can view the managers in your setup as well as accept and reject new managers. You can also request the SMFA to remove them. To remove a manager you must provide the SMFA will a good reason to remove this manager such as suspicious transfer activity, multiple accounts or similar. The manager refusing to sell you or a friend a player or you wanting to give a club to a friend are not reasons to remove a manager. This request can either be approved or declined by the SMFA. Please note that by requesting the SMFA to remove a manger, you are also asking him to be banned from the setup as well.

• Job Offers - You can offer clubs that are currently unmanaged to anybody on your friends list, they will then decide if they wish to take up the offer or not. Only friends who have enough spaces to accept the job will show up in the list, for example if your friend can mange 3 clubs and currently manages 3, then they will not show up for you to offer the job to them. You cannot currently offer jobs to managers who are already in your setup.

• Admin Transfers - You can report any transfers that have taken place in your setup to the SMFA. To have a transfer reversed you must provide the SMFA will a good reason to reverse the transfer. However, the transfer will only be reversed if the SMFA feel there is something ‘underhand’ regarding the transfer deal.

You should not submit any requests for a transfer to be reversed or to have a manager removed via SM Support, and any requests submitted here will be declined and you will be advised to submit your request via My Setups.

Please Note: The SMFA decision is final as they investigated every request thoroughly, and can check information that is not available to any manager within your setup.

Is it possible to delete my Custom Setup or restart it?

You cannot restart your Custom Setup, as this would be unfair on the other managers.

Can I change the name of my Custom Setup?

You cannot change the name of your Custom Setup as this is unique in the game.

Can I change my Custom Setup Rules?

You can only edit the Advanced rules of your setup ONCE at the start of a new season.

My application has been rejected for a Custom Setup what should I do?

The Custom Setup owner can accept or reject any managers they do or do not want.

Can you lift a ban from a manager within your Custom Setup?

You can view the managers you have removed and banned from your Custom setup from the Setup Admin page and unban them if you want to.

Is it possible to swap clubs within your Custom Setup?

You can not swap your club for another club once you have created your setup.

Can I remove all of the managers within my Custom Setup?

You can not remove all the managers in your Custom Setup as this would be on unfair on the managers.
